That's Front Page'd, in case it's lost in translation. Anybody ever got a write-up promoted to the BIG FP (uhh, I guess that would be Gawker itself)? Just curious

EDIT: There seems to be some confusion as to what I mean. I'm asking if anybody ever had something posted to Gawker itself, or if there's a way to submit stuff directly to Gawker.

I had a small one that got FP'd but I think it got deleted? It was about the P1's Nurburgring lap time.

I've had a few. I haven't written anything interesting in a while though. Oppo's content quality has gone way up though in the last 6-12 months.

Happened to me some time ago. The FP comments aren't exactly fun.

I've been FP'd before. As someone else already stated, the comments aren't that much fun to receive. I didn't mind them once I basically learned to tune them out. I think my post got about 30k hits in a couple of days.

8/10 would FP again.

lots of people have! My only FP article was just a question about everyone's favorite automotive Easter eggs, posted on Easter. It was a good experience overall. I've had a few Hat Tips too

I got an article about Formula E FP'd to Jalopnik a while back. The comments on that were good fun. "they're too quiet" "yes they are not as loud as conventional race cars, but they are loud" "but they are noisy enough" .... and on like that for ever and ever and ever and....

I think someone on Gawker's staff can share a post from anywhere in the Kinjaverse on Gawker's main page - of course, it would have to be pretty general interest.

Also Gawker isn't the "biggest" in terms of traffic, that goes back and forth between Lifehacker or Gizmodo

I'm assuming you wrote an article which you want promoted? I was gonna say post up on Oppo and maybe it gets shared but if you want this to be on Gawker then it must be a more general post?
